I think “Nice profile, I’d like to hear from you” is one of them. The site randomly selects from three or four such messages. There may be other activities that automatically send one of these messages. I know I was embarrassed to discover that I had “flirted” with women when I had no intention of doing so. No amount of wishful thinking will make this real. All sites have these, some a lot more than OurTime, some a lot fewer.
Dating & relationship
https://datingwebreviews.com/headero-review/ SUCKS. I’ve been on 6-7 over the years and it is the WORST. 99 percent of the messages I receive are CANNED, not originals written by the guy. And there is no way to block messages from people out of the area, so you get these canned messages from people all over the country. This site is a waste of money, but worse, a BIG waste of time. I met about a dozen people through Ourtime.com. There was dishonesty in height, weight, age, education, marital status, health, and even hair and teeth.
What is the OurTime phone number for customer care?
Most of the profiles I’ve perused seem genuine and I don’t respond to anyone with no picture or descriptions. I have e-mailed only a select few with a polite, complimentary message when their profile/pictures spark interest, but have received maybe only two or three replies. I have yet to go on a date via this site and will probably opt for POF or another site when my subsctiption expires….
We had taken a lot of time on site to discuss all the details and planned to meet on Saturday. At the time, my work was not even listed on my profile. It’s free model doesn’t hold basic functionality behind a new dating app. To stem the ambiguity, Wild Dating ensures you attribute the information of what you are looking for in your profile. Combined with the other features like the search filter, it makes sure you are getting what you want, whether a casual hookup or a long term relationship.
Still, the service doesn’t offer a mandatory account verification, which is why OurTime users are potentially vulnerable to scams. However, it doesn’t mean that all accounts are fake. In fact, there are plenty of committed daters who are using an app to get a long-term relationship. One of my favorite OurTime good aspects is that the registration process is simple – a user is required to provide email, password, name, location, and age.
Tinder is perhaps the most well-known dating app for swiping through potential matches. The photos and short profiles encourage you to make snap judgments about potential partners. You create a simple profile with a handful of photos and a few sentences about yourself, then throw yourself into the pool of other users near you, in your desired age range. First of all, you only get to see a few matches a day, and a lot of them aren’t even in the same city as you. Raya will show you people all over the world.
One of the only and good site for senior people out there. I am 50 myself and I would like to talk to people. I find it surprising when there is still a site for this group of age. When Covid-19 began I wasn’t able to see my grandkids and I was broken-hearted. Thanks to OurTime I have been able to talk with people my own age in my area. No complains so far, I find the app very easy to use, there are plenty of men in the app looking for companionship like myself.
I agree 100%.I wonder where these people come from, the gutter? I just tried this and am wasting more time than ever. I am not a computer whiz ;chatting online, texting is not for me. Ourtime has a lot of members but most will just view you and not put in the effort to date. However if you contact them they usually do make some arrangement for a date.
I have had different profiles give me the same phone number to text. I am VERY disappointed in this website, and have paid hard earned money for something that is not even legitimate. They will continue to charge your accounts, draining you dry, but it’s all one big fake. The site is so rinky dink and poorly put together that it’s ridiculous. Don’t fall for this con or for their commercials.
Users have the potential to search for like-minded people and participate in gay dating too. Singles can find friendship, companionship, and even pen-pals. The entire service is made for users to find whatever they’re looking for. It’s not necessarily an LGBT service, but it’s made for everyone over 50.
With that in mind, here are the best (and OK-est) dating apps to try out. My recommendations are based primarily on my own dating-app experiences as a woman. It’s a different take on dating than some of the other apps here, and as a fairly new service, SwoonMe isn’t as polished as some of its more well-established competitors. But it’s worth checking out if you find other dating apps to be overly superficial. Matches are created with Once algorithm, which draws on your profile and your past behavior to find an ideal match. You can use Once for free, but paid memberships speed up the searching process and give you more matches per day if you prefer.

Most of the messages and “Likes” I have gotten are scammers. Rather than allowing members to opt in for automatic renewal, OurTime requires members to go through a many-step process to opt out of automatic renewal charges. I opted out the day I signed up, knowing I didn’t want to renew. Now I keep getting pesky messages reminding me I’m opted out and that I should opt back in…good grief! The site has NO satisfaction guarantee or proportional refund. The site appears to benefit from scammers so newcomers will surely get mail and want to pay to read their mail.
We don’t think that OurTime.com is a traditional fake dating site where the dating service is responsible for creating fake profiles and sending people computer-generated messages. Our time has its own problems from the looks of it with romance scammers who joined the site pretending to be legitimate people looking for relationships. I have been widowed 2 years this past June, and at the encouragement of family friends, I joined OurTime.com.
